How to install EOS Utility if you lost the disk…
Great, the Technicolor profile is now available (http://www.technicolor.com/en/hi/cinema/filmmaking/digital-printer-lights/cinestyle)!
The only problem is that you need to have EOS Utility installed on your computer. If you threw the Canon CD away as soon as you opened you 5DMkII box.
No problem you think, I just have to download the app from the Canon site.
Problem is that Canon is only providing an updater, not an installer. Basically this means that you can only update your app, not install it.

Fear not! After looking around, I found a solution (for OS X users). Follow these easy steps to transform the updater into an installer:
- Download the EOS Updater
- Open the file and copy the ‘updateinstaller’ file on your desktop
- Right-click on the file and select ‘show package contents’
- Browse to content/resources
- Right-click on the file ‘SDI.bundle’ and select ‘show package contents’
- Browse the content/resources
- Delete update.plist
- Close all the windows and double click the installer.
I hope it helps you guys! I am going to test the profile over the weekend. From what I have seen so far, it will be a major improvement over anyone who never shot flat before. For those who were already shooting with one of the various flat profile, the improvements are there but smaller. But I need more testing to confirm all of this! Hard to test something when the sun isn’t up…
Honestly, I just copy this from :

Business Software For Freelancers, Filmmakers, and Photographers
Well,.... as a freelance video editor, there's a time when I have to do a lot of things in a day.
Here's some software that could help you as a freelancer.
1. Things
Things is a task management software that is based off of theGetting Things Done philosophy. And it works. I have Things integrated across computers, devices, address book, calendar, and email.
2. Billings
When it comes to keeping track of editing hours, clients, invoices, I turn to Billings. Billings takes the stress out of managing time and invoices. For a lot of us startup freelancers this is an area we tend to operate poorly.
3. Koku
Most creatives hate accounting. We like colors and image concepts not numbers. Koku is a powerful yet simple software that makes money management a much more pleasant task. Oh and it has pretty graphs.
4. TurboTax
Not only does Turbo Tax make filing easier, it also ensures I am getting the most out of my return.
And for the next information,... I read this from :

Good Luck for your job and,.... Keep the spirit !!
